Maternity Leave Pay for Maids?

Anyone know of any laws stating required pay for maternity leave for employees(maid)? If there is no specific law, can anyone give an idea of how they have handled the situation?

Our maid is 4 months pregnant and has complications where she needs to rest(actually lie down most of the time)and cannot work.

We are planning on paying her her entire wage right through the pregnancy though she is not working. We consider her "family". She only works 10 hrs a week @ $500 pesos/week.

We feel it is the correct thing to do. Any thoughts on this out there?

Under the ,law, she is entitled to six weeks leave before and six weeks after delivery with full pay. If she is unable to return to work after that leave, she's entitled to a period not to exceed 60 days at half pay

If she is enrolled with IMSS, then they take care of those obligations.

The government labor law site where I got that information several years ago no longer exists. As you may know, the government often changes URLs without any notice or forwarding. I am frequently frustrated by disappearing references.

If you have more up-to-date information, I would love to know about it.
