How could anybody expect it to look attractive, much less be effective? It does not extend the length originally intended, which I believe was to be four miles.

How did my thread get so hijacked?

Anyway, I am here! I made it with boat and all! Typical 200 peso payoff everytime I got nabbed by Feds...decided not to drive thru Sinaloa at night and spent the night at a Pemex in the car...

It was an adventure!

Hound Dog, that is hilarious as we have always ignored the instructions to put the permit in the middle next to the rear view mirror, and have always put it on the lower left just above our state registration sticker.

We drove through there about 2 weeks ago and what looked to me like a checkpoint was completely empty. It's a good thing we did not take the advice we received at Nogales, to just get our vehicle sticker at the Sonora/Sinaloa border. We would have been really screwed. This advice was given by a border cop at km 21.
