Annual San Fransico de Asis Festival. Oct/4/2009-Oct/8/2009

Hello everyone, just thought I´d make my first post by inviting anyone that wants to attend our annual festival in Cheran, Mich (about 40 mins north of Uruapan, Mich, 60 mins south of Zamora, Mich & 75 mins southwest of Morelia, Mich) I should note that there will be very traditional indigenous Purepecha (Tarasco) food, arts & crafts, and all with the lowest prices that you´ll be able to find, anywhere! Not to mention the free music & entertainment and since it´s mostly local indigenous people, it should be very safe, probably a stare or two at the most.
Thanks again, and see you there!

I just returned from a Dia de San Miguel festival in a rancho near me (San Miguel de Brete--yes, a funny name if you know Spanish). It was a marvel. This was my second year. The flowers in the church were worth the trip, but the fresh homemade carnitas and cabrito with mole were incredible. Beautiful children everywhere. I am sure your festival is equally wonderful--wish I could go.
