Oh, DROOOL!!!!!
Thanks for sharing shots of a market I don't expect to see because of the crowd-aversion factor, but thanks for the yummm!

It wasn't crowded even on Sunday morning. And during the week even less.

We enjoyed our visit to Mercado San Juan, a year ago. It was where I was at last able to locate and but Pimentón de La Vera. (True, there are other places in México D.F., including the Palacio de Hierro department store.)

Unfortunately, as we don't live nearby, it would have been awkward to bring a rabbit home on the bus. ;-)

We brought it home on ETN along with the rest of the goods!!

The baggage handlers will accomodate ice chests. We used one of the shopping bags made for frozen items but it travelled below with our suitcases. Sin ningun problema.

BTW this was the first time we have taken the bus from Guadalajara to the DF. My wife just does not like to fly and I didn't want to drive. ETN has several buses leave from Condo Plaza next door to Plaza del Sol around 11pm. They drop passengers off in front of the Hotel Benidorm or Sevilla Palace in Colonia Roma. The same goes for the return trip. Very convenient for us as our daughter lives very near in la Condesa.

Mexican bus service is exceptional! Right up there along with its fresh foods, including meats. Never tasted anything better.
