Cheap Spanish classes online

I really wish I could go to Mexico or Guatemala to learn Spanish, but I just don't have the money. I did, however, run across this list of sites. http://learn-spanish-review.toptenreviews.com/

Has anybody ever done one of these kinds of approaches? I hate going to classes at the community college and there aren't that many Spanish speakers around here to get a tutor without driving for miles.

The following is a list of web sites that offer FREE Spanish. Some are teasers for their paid programs and some are just lessons. The sites with the stars (*) are particularly good and the site with the # sign links to a down-loadable program with vocabulary spoken by native speakers. These bookmarks have been collected over time from various sources, many from Mexconnect. I think if you use these and perhaps a book and some audio or video Spanish Language tapes from your public library, you can get a pretty good start. The secret is to just do it a little bit each day. Good Luck.

Thanks for the list. I never pass up anything that teaches me more Spanish, but what I liked about this website http://learn-spanish-review.toptenreviews.com/ was that a couple of the places actually let you talk to a Spanish tutor living in Guatemala or Nicaragua. And it only cost about $10/hr. That's better than driving, buying somebody a cup of coffee and driving home.
