While there is no specific word for a nap in the morning, the Spanish word dormitar means to doze, it could be used to mean a nap at any time. I ran this question by my two resident Spanish linguists, my wife and suegra. They both agreed that there is no one word to describe a nap in the morning, like siesta describes an afternoon nap. They both agreed that using the word dormitar, with or without any explanatory words about when you were going to do it, was the most practical way to describe a morning nap.
