I need a bass with which to practice and perform, and I simply don't have any idea where to look! Does anyone have any recomendations?

Call my friend Alejandro Díaz Martínez, master luthier, extraordinary professor at the UdeQ, and owner of Violin Shop Querétaro. His shop is located at Angela Peralta #19, Centro Histórico, Querétaro. His landline is 442.243.1488. His cellular phone is 442.136.9128. He is one of the finest luthiers in Mexico and will know where to direct you to rent a bass.

Be SURE to tell him that Cristina from Morelia sent you. He'll be pleased to hear it.

Coincidentally, during the week starting Saturday, June 27, the Mexico Cooks! front page article and photos will be devoted to him and his work. The article will publish at 10:00AM CDT.

His email address is violinshopqueretaro@yahoo.com.mx.

Your email to him should be in Spanish.

Please address him as Maestro Díaz. "Maestro" is his title and "Díaz" is his last name.

You're welcome.
