Sponsoring a child in Jalisco or Nayarit

I have been searching for some time on some of the Christian Charity sites like Compassion.org, World Vision, etc. to try to find a child in Jalisco or Nayarit that I could sponsor. I would like to find a child in that area such that it might be possible to visit them and their family sometime when I come down (a couple of times a year at least).
None of the big charities seem to work with groups in Jalisco or Nayarit. Does anyone know of local charities in these states that have child sponsorship programs that I would be able to contact to find a child to sponsor?
