Building Dept. submission info?

Can't Post | Private Reply
I am trying to find out what a typical submission would be for new/renovated construction.
What drawings would the Bldg Dept ask for?
Floor plans.
Plumbing plans? (waste and supply)
Building section?
Plot plan?

I'd like to know the requirements.
If anyone knows the system; or better yet, has some samples they could attach, please contact me.
Black out the Architects name, if you want; I am not trying to steal information, just study it.

thanks

There is no one set of requirements that would apply to all of México. Your best source will be the city where you want to build,

In my city, no submittal was required for our remodel project. For our new construction project, we were asked for the basic plan for the first floor (two story building) showing the location of the columns. Nothing else. It will be different in different cities.

Like Rolly said it's going to differ with the municipio

On a large paper I drew lot measurements, house location on the lot, rooms, columns, baths, kitchen, drainage lines and septic (not even with a ruler).

The municipio office has an architect that will convert simple drawings into technically correct builders drawings showing footing size and depth, etc. (cost 1200 pesos)
