Questions about Guanajuato

I am new to the forum, I have posted under living, retiring and working. I am going to be moving to the Curuamareo area of Guanajuato. My husband has family there. Can anyone tell me about this area? Also does anyone know how far it is from Curuarmareo to Leon? I found a school that teaches in english as well as spanish. I have young children and they speak little spanish now. thanks
