I live in Hermosillo and I know of this hospital. It is located very centrally and looks really nice. There is a clinic nearby that I think is associated with the hospital where I get my blood work done...tests on the blood and urine, etc. for my annual physical. If the hospital is anything like that clinic, it must be a very top-notch place. I have heard that you can just waltz into the hospital and be seen by an English-speaking, American trained doctor, but you are going to pay close to US office visit prices. I have no personal experience doing that, but I might do it, because I am getting no where fast with my new Mexican doctor who puts more effort into trying to explain things to me in English (and I still never understand much of what he says) and seems completely oblivious that I am speaking to him in Spanish. Fortunately most of my tests have come back normal but I am being re-tested for blood sugar in a few days. If it shows that I am borderline diabetic, or worse, I will have to find a doctor I can communicate with, in English or Spanish, and this hospital may be the answer for me. Thanks for your post.
