Civil rights in Mexico as a foreigner?

Does anyone know how mariage to a Mexican woman affects your civil rights in Mexico?
Can we buy land and become co-owner easily or does this imply a lot of red-tape?<p>Any link or advice appreciated.

In describing naturalization, it specifically says a foreign woman who marries a Mexican man. Do you think that's intentional, and does it also work the other way around, or not?<p>Cat
