Most of the ceilings are 8 meters high with some them even higher - like the two story portion of the living room in our part of the house which is a little over 30 feet high. The house as a whole is almost 1,800 meters - so 8 1/2 years to renovate it was actually quite reasonable considering that so much of the work was hand work being that the original walls are meter thick rubble stone construction.

If you get time labeling fotos would be more interesting. Also your construction fotos are not working

YOu are right...and in a couple years when I am retired - the labeling and editing down to a smaller number is a project I have set for myself.

Gorgeous! Love the stone work and colors. Amazing transformation- Way too much work for me. i bet the transparent bridge over the pool looks really cool when lit up at night. Really something to be proud of.

I couldn't get the thumbnail photos of construction to enlarge either. Wish I could have figured out the slideshow operation- i'd rather scroll thru the pictures at my own pace to look at the details.
