I'm not sure where this should be posted, but I'll start here... I have had Sky TV the last five years, mas o menos, here in Nayarit and I may have the opportunity to spend six months in Patzcuaro in a house without Sky. My question is, can I just transfer my service to my new temporary address, or is that expecting nob service which is unavailable here?

Camille, I'm very confused by your comments where you write "or is that expecting nob service which is unavailable here?" Of course NOB service is available in Nayarit and in Patzcuaro. There is the very popular Canadian Star Choice and DISH from the US. Also SKY is a Mexican provider that is available in both areas. Use your search engine in the Tech Mex Forum. You will be bored to death with all of the posts thereon.

I think what Camille is saying is a tongue in cheek reference that expecting to be able to request a temporary transfer of service is possibly an above and beyond service not usually practiced in Mexico.
