I have been using Skype here NoB for several weeks to get used to how it works so that when we get to Monterrey I will (hopefully) know what I am doing. My question is Skype offers a wireless phone it comes preloaded with Skype software. I was wondering if anyone has purchased this and if it works OK. It is supposed to allow you to jump onto wireless signals (i guess at hotspots?), use that signal and then you can use the phone to make calls via your Skype account.

Anyone know of this?

I have no experience with the Skype phone, but I would note that free WIFI is much less common in Mexico than in the USA, making this type of phone less useful in Mexico.

We sold that unit at one time at the only local ISP along the shores of Lake Chapala in Ajijic ( It was a great product. But sadly there wasn't that much demand. therefore we no longer carry it. However it can be special ordered
