Hmmm...I made the meatball soup and it came out terrific. It was one of those things I just couldn't wait to do, so I ran out to WalMart, rounded up some meat and vegetables, and sat down to a great meatball soup around 11:30. PM. Better late than never.
I'm looking forward to the barbacoa story. I'm sure it will be excellent, as always. Your photo stories make everything come to life. Oh, and you are SO toast. Yes, again. This time because I have no way to get maguey leaves in the middle of Oklahoma, and you're making me hungry, as always.
My compliments to Adriana. Her albóndigas recipe made enough to feed an army, so I'm carting the tasty leftovers out to New Mexico to feed my hungry, newly single dad. He'll appreciate it.
