¡No hagan rosca!

¡Queridos amigos costeños!
¡No hagan rosca! Today is when the 3 kings come to leave gifts for the children who have behaved, and also the rest of us get to eat the delicious "rosca de reyes" with hot chocolate. If when you cut the rosca a little figure of a baby is found, then you get the oportunity to buy tamales and hot chocolate to celebrate the Candelaria on February 2nd(I already have 5 little babies!). My grandkids where just here and loved to have the chance to cut the rosca and get their babies.
I have a big slice of rosca set aside for anyone who can interpret "¡No hagas rosca!", and I will keep it in the freezer until you can come to Xalapa to claim it.
And the usual advice for this new year 2009...
"¡Portense mal y cuidense bien, sin mirar a quien!"
