Quinceañera gift

Can't Post | Private Reply
A neighboring family will celebrate their daughter's quinceañera on Dec. 25.
We have been invited to the mass and the comida.

Any ideas of an appropriate gift, something under $250 MXN?
Gracias.

Judging by the ones I have attended, a bottle of Tequila would be a hit with papa.

The young lady would appreciate a cell phone card if you can find out which one she needs. And, of course, cash is always welcome.

A cell phone card - that's a great thought Rolly - thanks for the information.

Thanks for the gift ideas, Rolly. A cell phone card: I never would have thought of that, but it's great.

The Tequila is never in short supply at these functions. The Papá lives and works in the U.S. and comes home for the temporada Navideña.

We recently just gave cash to the "birthday girl." I asked around locally and was told that was OK to do. Even though there was a table with gifts, another attendee told us to hold onto our gift. Sure enough, after a while the girl came to each table, greeted the guests (again) and accepted the gifts.
