The southern Mexico topic here has been pretty moribund, and I don't really expect this thread to liven it up much, but we are headed down to the Yucatan Peninsula again in about 5 weeks. This will be our third time on Isla de Mujeres (5 nights), second trip to Merida (7 nights) and 5th trip to Playa del Carmen (4 nights)
We're going to do closer exploration of Merida for the week we are there. We liked the city on our first visit, and if this one works out, we'll go back down during the heat for a bit.
