Hi Jacques,<p>I am mexican and this expresion is very informal I am trying to think if sounds like a northern accent, but I think I've heard it also not in an urban environment such as Mexico City but for the most part in the country side (Ranchos, Pueblos, o en el campo) Generaly Andale pues, would mean anything from:
1) O.K. That's good then... if the person says this at the end of a statement in a conversation, sort of agreeing to something said before.
2) "Andale" with more accentuation on the second <a> in general denotes hurriness, such as "Do it!" "move on!" etc and often denotes an urgent issue going on.
3) "Andale" with more accentuation on the first <A> denotes merciness such as a kid asking for candy or requesting something from the parent.<p>Remember in polite circles (i.e. business) is not going to be common, also you can say "andele pues" with an <e> as you probably know the polite form of addressing to someone and it sounds more distant.<p>
