OK, why not? It would be nice to have a separate space so we don't have to clog up the learning forum, but at any rate, something is better than nothing. Of course, part of it depends on how many literature aficionados we have around here. So far I know of three. Anyone else?

Hello Olivia,

Why not here on the learning Spanish forum? The real beginners can learn just as much as the literature lovers. I agree with Sr. Quevedo. And for me it keeps this learning Spanish forum alive. It sometimes drags for a long time without any input.

As for me, I too, am a literature lover. I do not enjoy poetry in Spanish however because it is just too difficult to translate. I can always come up with the ideas but the triple meanings are just too much for my simple mind.

Prose is different.

You're right. I have often complained to myself about the forum being lifeless, so now we have a solution!
