Help needed, please - how would you translate "food miles" into Spanish? The definition reads as follows: "Una medida de la distancia que recorren los alimentos desde su origen hasta el consumidor. Se puede proporcionar en unidades de distancia real o en la energía consumida durante el transporte", but I'm at a loss as to how the term itself is normally translated (if at all) into Spanish. Suggestions? NB "Millas de alimentos" exists on various websites, but is there a more Spanish-based translation that anyone has heard of such as "kilometraje de alimentos" ??
