Hi Folks;<p>I'm curious about a few snippets of telenovela
dialogue that, as usual, I'm not sure I heard
correctly:
1. Los zapatos ni a la fuerza le entran. (I don't
think this was meant literally.)
2. ¡No te fijes!
3. pegarse los ojos. (Does this mean ... to get some sleep?)<p>Best regards,

I think the closest equivalent would be: You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink.<p>No te fijes....
Literally---don't notice
Probably several usages, but here's what I know: Two friends have plans to do something and suddenly one bows out at the last minute. The one that bowed out might say: no te fijes (en ese detalle).
