Chimichurri Recipe

Can't Post | Private Reply
Does anyone have a recipe for authentic chimichurri? I have enjoyed what I think is chimichurri in Aguascalientes. It was a honey mustard color with bits of green and possibly red. The chimichurri found here in the US is nothing like what I had. I would love to be able to recreate that WONDERFUL flavor in my own kitchen.

Isn't chimichurri made of oil, vinegar, garlic, parsley and a little chile?

http://www.recipezaar.com/21151, for example.

(I guess, no chile, but black pepper instead. Unless you want to add chile.)

Of course we know that chimichurri is an Argentine salsa, not a salsa mexicana. There are currently so many Argentine restaurants in Mexico that we might think chimichurri originated here, but the Argentines win the prize for it.
