"A lo mejor"

From time to time, I hear the phrase, "A lo mejor." My guess is that it means " Ar best...", but I'm not sure.

Gracias a alguien que me pude aclarar.

A lo mejor is an idiom that means 'at most', 'at best', 'maybe', 'if at all possible', etc.

A lo mejor sí.

Folks around here use that a LOT. Almost always, by the context, I would translate it "probably."

Yes, that would be another way it could be translated, according to the context.
