¡Amigos costeños! Jo Belmont has an exhibition of her art work at the Xalapa Museum of Anthropology(MAX) through May 25 called "Faces of Mesoamerican Mythology." She lives in Coatepec and creates clay masks based on Mesoamerican cultures. Enjoy and let us know what you think of the exhibit.
¡Hasta pronto!

I appreciate the plug Roy, but this exhibition was a year ago. We have had tremendous success with exhibitions since living in Mexico (almost two years now). We have exhibited at the University of Veracruz, Department of History, the Museum of Anthropology in Xalapa, and most recently at El Tajin. We are using this exhibition of Mesoamerican masks as a"teaching tool" for contemporary Mexicans to learn more about the cultures of their past. Our aim is to take this exhibition on a tour of as many Mexican venues as possible. Anyone interested in seeing our collection of life size ceramic masks or having an exhibition may visit our web site at terranostrastudio.com Hopefully we will be at the MAX again next year.
