It seems that all the recent threads involving beatricemor were deleted. Are we to be deprived of the Chiapas Tales? Very disappointing.

I too am very disappointed about the lack of stories / information from Chiapas. I miss Beatricemor and Bubba
I have renewed my subscription, after much thought. However, this will be the last time, if there is no input from Chiapas.
MexConnect is not providing a service to those of us whose interests are in Chiapas.

Thank you for your support. However, as David said, he has invited me to write articles for the magazine and I can continue to post here as well so he has been quite supportive.

My problem is that we are very busy moving into our new home in San Cristobal and I have not yet gotten around to buying a computer for here so am forced to post in public internet houses. We are also about to embark on extensive travels in the Lacandon Jungle and I promise to relate our adventures when we return in late April. This is a fascinating state and I fully support David´s publishing efforts so please stick around and be patient with me. Sixty six year old geezers tire easily when moving especially when they have wives that can´t stop moving.

Bubba is almost correct.

Yes, he has been invited to write aricles about Chiapas for publication in Mexico Connect.

Bubba has accepted this invitation with excitement about having his work published.

However, I have also informed him that I have not changed my decision about his not being able to post on the Forums.

His work and words will be appearing on Mexico Connect in article format only.

We all are looking forward to his writings.

I enjoyed reading Bubba, and his unique writing style. What other Bubba could use "Sovereign risk" in a sentence?

But sometimes on the forums he exceeded the limits of good taste, so I think Dave is right to keep him off there.

I look forward to Bubba's articles, I am sure that they will be enjoyable.

I too would like to read more articles about Chiapas, from whatever source. Chiapas is one of our favorite states, and a very interesting place.
