Sandcastle Dreams Real Estate

Have been coming down to PV for years, and finally decided to buy a place.
I spent two different trips with local realtors who either did not show up, or the office was closed.
When someone did show up, they showed me properties that were either out of my price range or not what I wanted, TOTAL waste of time.
While skiing in Tahoe, I saw an add on the resort network for Sandcastle Dreams Real Estate and Paradise Mortgage, I figured I would give PV another shot.
They had a "fly and buy" program, I put $1500.00 in an escrow account, they paid for airfare, hotel, etc. AND picked me up at the airport. I had been left at the airport on the previous two attempts.
If you do not buy, you have a $1500.00 vacation, if you buy the $1500.00 goes in to the offer.
Danny Lopez (realtor) and Jonas Soder (mortgage) both met me at the airport, got me to my hotel, then took me out to lunch to find out what I wanted.
We met the following morning for breakfast and reviewed six properties they had picked out, ALL were in my price range and location!
By the end of the day, I had financing and an offer in on a place at the Marina!!
I can not say enough about the great customer service I received from these guy's.
They are located in Marina Vallarta, by the lighthouse, sharing an office with Chappy Charters.

I'm glad this worked out for you. I, for one, would have been very skeptical of such an offer. It is almost axiomatic that any packaged real estate deals-- anything in a brochure or such-- will be loaded with pitfalls. I'm curious about how you could have determined in one day if you were getting good value. I am building a house in a town where it is very common for people to take one look at the place, buy a property, THEN find out what the complications are. Please don't get me wrong; I really am happy for you. Just curious about how it all actually went down. I too had spend a few years looking in the Vallarta area before settling on Sayulita.

Congratulation to Oschek!

I am glad he had such a great experience.

He must have really found a great team as I see he now has 3 properties in that area listed on craigs list for sale.
Or at least the email address in his Mexconnect profile is the same as the person selling on Craigs list.

After spending a few weeks with the guy's, they offered me a job, I accepted.
Pulled the plug in Northern California, and did not look back.
Can't say enough about the location and the really great people I have met along the way.
