When the San Miguel kidnap victim convinced his captors that only he had access to the funds needed for the ransom, they decided to take his good friend as collateral and release him to get the money. The highly touted AFI has been useless and, perhaps, even culpable, and the family is appealing directly to President Calderon for help.

Another reason why its important not to have friends that are faster talkers that yourself!

I went to the article to read it and because it was in Spanish I could not. This seems like a serious situation, can you give more of an overview of what happened and to whom?
