Thanks, Pete, wherever you are!! May Santa deliver more HD channels to your home. Do you leave cookies along with the rum and diet Coke for Santa? Oh, I also hope Santa leaves you a new home and removes that pile of rubble that used to be a very large house! That is quite a "remodel" you have going there!!

Tim: I'm up here in Seattle, and had been watching the snow coming down. It's above freezing so it's not sticking, it's not like Chicago where it really gets cold. I don't know when you saw the big old home last but they started demolition in early Sep, and by now new foundations and new walls have been built. What's most impressive is the 4 story elevator that is going in. Everyone figures that with 4 stories, it's going to be a big house. Now before you say, what a 4 story home? It's really a two story home, the elevator starts one level below where one parks, so the 2nd level is really the first floor, the 3rd level is really the second floor and the 4th level is the roof.

Why an elevator? I'm just preparing for old age. And besides I just want to have easy access to the satellite dishes.

NOW DOWN TO SATELLITE dish problems. Does anyone know where I can get a 7 to 8 foot elliptical dish? With a single elliptical dish and two LNBs I can get signals from the two DISH satellites 110 and 119 West. It will mean one less satellite dish on the roof of my new house.

I don't know about all of you, but I ate way too much and the only person I can blame, is me.

Pete,

Why don't you put some pictures and/or narrative up on the Construction forum? Or, at least, on http://www.casajohanson.com? I, for one, would enjoy seeing what you are building.

Tim: That would be a good idea. You can see that that webpage is sadly outdated. I lost my password. :). And I'm just to lazy to fix the problem. Maybe I should fix it. Thanks for the suggestion

Pete, If you're using IE7, do a google on "IE7+pro". It's an addon for for the browser that includes a lot of "nifties" including one for passwords that everytime you mouse over a bunch of ****** it provides you with the password.

Hi: Ron

Sadly I have a like program called RoboForm to help me remember my passwords. I never bothered to enter same. Thanks for the suggestion though. The program you suggested looks quite interesting.

Right now, I'm overwhelmed with my new Christmas present, an Itouch ipod. with 16 Gigs.It sure beats my 2 gig Nanu, that someone stole or borrowed

Well Pete, glad the big fat man in the red suit brought you something to hold your interest.
Another way I store passwords & user names is by renaming the desktop icons and including PW & names. That way a mouse over on the desktop reveals the name & info. Not on my financial accounts though.
