We were happy to wake up to light rain and everything standing where we left it! Well except for the sun-shade over our cars...It got tangled into a ball and will have to be replaced. :-) Unfortunately the folks on the Baja didn't get off easy.

This year another foreign tourist in Cabo walking too close to the ocean the day before the Hurricane made landfall got picked up and swallowed up by the sea. This is so very sad when it is completely preventable. It's happened here in Mazatlan too. Locals know to respect the ocean but tourists are fascinated with the big waves, not having a clue of their fury.

Henriette is just arriving in the Guaymas/San Carlos area and causing some problems.

Thanks for posting that. I can't help wondering if the local surfers were out in those big waves like they were here in Mazatlan!
