There are several in Maz. Don't know about Obregon, but thirty miles away is the Best Western del Rio in Navajoa. We and others have stayed there with pets (our two dogs and a cat). It is a very nice motel with a good restaurant and very nice grounds. I'm not sure about cost. It seems to change from time to time. We've paid from $60 to $85 US. It is listed in Rolly's reference above. If you don't mind a little extra travel, Alamos, thirty miles east of Navajoa is a great little town and has at least one very nice pet friendly B&B. A bit short of there, but still not a bad day's drive from Maz is the Hotel Playa de Cortez on the outskirts of Guaymas. Built in 1936 by the SP Railroad as a resort hotel, it is a splendid wreck that retains some of its splendor, though it has definetely seen better days. Rates vary between the week-end and midweek, and are somewhere in the $55-70 range. It has a bar and restaurant and wonderful grounds - including an RV section. At least some of the places in Maz are also listed in the reference from Rolly. We have stayed at the Hotel Los Arcos. It is on the beach, a fairly nice but not spectacular hotel, and they charge for the pets. It is quite pricy for the quality of the accommodations, but you do what you have to do when traveling with pets. This has been discussed extensively in the past. Check "search String" for the past year for other suggestions.
