Colima Hotels

Can any locals recommend a hotel? Is the Mision Hotel on the outskirts nice? Last time I drove by there (last Sept) I felt it was too far away from town. It almost looks isolated... I have looked online...saw Ceballos downtown...and Maria Isabel going into town... any recommendations?

Both Ceballos downtown and Maria Isabel are excellent hotels. There are nice restaurants near Maria Isabel with good access to shopping ( Liverpool Shopping Center, Sams, Walmart, City Club, Soriana, Sears, Office Depot and more). There are also some historic ruins off the road between Walmart and City Club.

Hotel America is a block from the plazas and nice. I'd take the Ceballos over it if prices are similar, just to be on the main plaza
