Spanish on the Web

Hi All:

Lois and I are new to this site. A little background. We are planning to start exploring Mexico next year and have enrolled in Spanish lessons here in Calgary. Just finishing our 2nd set of classes using a text book called 'Como Se Dice'. For the summer we are considering two options.
1. Hire a tutor
2. Buy the CD course from StudySpanish.com

Does anyone have any experience with the CD courses from the StudySpanish web site? Was it helpful? Would you recommend it? Other suggestions?

Muchas Gracias por sus respuestas.

Brian

Hire a tutor. A tutor will get you speaking and conversing. I have had very good luck with tutors in terms of learning French and Spanish. They will get you going and help you get rid of your bad habits and bad pronunciation.

Thanks Richard. Excellent points regarding catching and correcting bad habits and pronunciation before they get ingrained.
