¡Estimados amigos costeños!
Sorry for not contributing more on this forum, but due to family affairs I have been out of Xalapa a lot.
This is from Jo Belmont...
We currently have an exhibition of our
art work at the Museum of Anthropology in Xalapa. It started April 26 and
will hang until this Friday, May 25. Would you mind putting a blurb about
it on Mexico Connect? I am no longer a memeber of that, but I thought
someone might be interested in seeing it before it ends. It is called
"Faces of Mesoamerican Mythology." I make clay masks based on research of
Mesoamerian cultures and mythology. We are very excited about the interest
and support we have received from the Museum and the local community. We
invite you, friends and family to see it before we take it down at the end
of the week. I am enclosing some articles that were published about the
Hopefully we will run into each other again sometime.
Jo & Ablerto Belmont

Hopefully I will see it tomorrow, Tuesday, before I meet with some expats at the "Jade y Pluma" café Ave. Orizaba #100 at 3 PM for a light lunch.
"Junio Musical" is coming up next month and I will try to keep you all posted.
¡Hasta pronto!

Visited the exhibition this morning. It's upstairs. Very interesting, obviously the product of a great deal of care, work and talent. Susie almost ruined it for me by pointing out that, significantly reduced in scale, they would make great refrigerator magnets.
