Can't seem to post, it times out. This is a test.

Your test message went through on the Chapala forum. Yes, it will time out if you walk away long enough to eat a hamburger before posting.

As I am in Taos at the moment, I don't have the opportunity to delve deeply.
Tony Burton will intercede for you as this seems to be unique to you!
So some details first so that he can pass it all on to the techies:
1. system
2. internet access type
3. any recent changes to either your system, software or internet access systems? if so, what?
4. Is this occurring on all forums or just some?
5. Exactly what happens when you try to post?
6. Which editing system are you using to post and does switching make a difference? (This should be question #1!)

can post on other forums, can send email, can't get on banking sites, also times out

It certainly sounds like this is a local connection issue (we've received absolutely no other reports of any site-based issues recently).
