Sellan la FM3 al salir de México????

Can't Post |
Hola a tod@s!
No soy estadounidense.

Muchas gracias.
FELIZ AÑO 2002 A TOD@S!!!

Sellan la FM3 al salir de México????

Hola:
You said you have an FM3. It is not necessary to seal the FM3 when you leave Mexico. It is necessary to have the FM2 sealed. If it is not sealed, they will not let you pass the 20 kilometer check point when you come back in. You will need to go back to Immigration at the border, explain why you did not get it sealed, and perhaps pay a fine. It has not been necessary to seal the FM3 for years now. I hadn't realized that the pages were still in the book. I will have to look.
Your FM3 is good for multiple entries and reentries to Mexico.
Some not well trained adueneros may give you a problem with your car permit which is also good as long as your FM3 is good, even though the temporary Permit to import has run out. In that case ask for a supervising officer. Better yet, carry the Ley Aduenera with you. I have had to show it twice at the Reynosa crossing, the last time in October of 2001.
Good luck. Jerezano.
