Help on finding a place...

I read about a town in Mexico, hopefully in this area, that had an expat community. It was relatively undiscovered, south of Arizona/ New Mexico, and not San Miguel de Allende. It sounded something like "rice" -- arrozz, or Arrieros. But I canno find what I read on this site (or maybe another). I found it via google, but now I cannot because my memory is not much better than the rest of me (or my friends). Any ideas on how to search?? Sound familiar?
