Pet Friendly Costa Alegre

Anyone know of a pet (dog) friendly hotel or B&B anywhere from PV to Manzanillo, where we could stay a few days next month - late February/early March - with our dog?

Hello

We stayed a few days in January at Hotel La Posada in Manzanillo and really enjoyed it.
We traveled with our pet bunny rabbit.
I didn't notice anything about being pet friendly on their website.

But we emailed them and it was no problem, and when we got there we notice another couple with a dog.
So just to be safe, pop them of an email first.

There have also had some very nice reviews on tripadvisor.com .

Good Luck,

Very nice place. We have stayed there with our dog. As you said, one needs to ask. The only thing they demanded was that we keep our dog out of the sala - where they serve meals and drinks. No problem as there is lots of shade just outside that area for the dog.

I am looking for something north of Manzanillo, though would be very happy to stay at La Posada - an excellent establishment.

Dlyman:

As you drive south of Puerto Vallarta past the Tomatlan cutoff, you will come to an area before Chamela that has a sign on your right indicating "Polynesian Village" and a bit farther on you turn right and come to a number of bungalows on a beautiful beach where there is also an RV resort. We asked them if we could stay there with three very large mastiffs and they agreed as long as we committed to control them. They indicated a preference for our stay during the week when the place is nearly deserted. I donīt know how you can call them but I donīt really think you need to, especially during the week. After you get south of Chamela but before La Manzanilla, I believe dogs may be a problem.
