They are pretty good. The teachers speak Spanish only or at least very little English. They do a work book (published by them) a week with CD's for you for homework. It is fairly well structured. The classes are 3 hours a day starting at 4 PM to avoid the heat of the day. They are held in the cultural center in La Manzanilla.

The owners are nice and he is from Mexico City and spent 20+ years in the states and his wife is from Berkley, CA.

The last I knew they were opening another school in Mexico City.

I did their beginners course and liked it.

I think Shoe turned me onto it and I took 2 weeks of their intermediate. Driving up every afternoon was the reason I didn't take more. Almost all the teachers are school teachers and work during the day. Intermediate is all conversation and reading - no studying verb conjugation or even lists of verbs. Their books are 'side-by-side' English/Spanish with very interesting stories. They even tried me on listening to music but I didn't care much for their choices - I said no thanks and we moved on. The 3 basic levels are 5 weeks apiece. If you don't fit in a slot they seemed very willing to oblige. (Qualify that - 2 other students dropped out my first week and I was alone the second - making it easy for them to be flexible)

I heard they might open a school in Melaque - many more people visit here than La Manzanilla
