Not unusual, especially in Feb. I have seen about 3 mosquitos in my apt in the past 4 years! My windows (unscreened) are open except during rainstorms. I live near the ocean, so the breezes help. Plus the city is very diligent about spraying and, in summer, they send people house to house and all over the city looking for standing water to treat and instructing residents about the need to control areas where they breed. Still, away from the ocean there are and always will be mosquitos, as would be expected anywhere. And we have cases of dengue every summer. It is not on my list of concerns.
