I have enough trouble when it is in a formal manner let alone shortened and no reference in documentation. I will have to allow for the slang until I can get there an start using it myself. I am a self study student and up until now have not felt confident to ask questions here as I have been lurking for 3 years.

Asking about taxes, I was recently informed that I needed to learn the shortened informal versions, at least in BCS: for example, IVA (pronounced "eeva" where I was saying "ee vey aah"). It pays to ask questions :-)

Where I lived in New York, the English word for "migra" was ..... migra. Hehehe.
