Take the bus from the Mexico City airport to the central bus station in Puebla. It is a good first class bus. I don't think that I have ridden that specific bus, but I have ridden other buses that leave from the airport. The buses run about once per hour, probably from early in the morning to late in the evening. I don't think that you will find any buses between midnight and 6 AM.
The buses that leave from the airport cost a little more, but that is offset in convenience and not having to pay for a taxi in Mexico City. If you were going to Tlaxcala or some other place that was not a suburb of Puebla, I would suggest going to the TAPO bus station instead, and getting a bus direct to your final destination.
