Anyone else still getting that annoying pop up error message besides me?

I hate it.

I don't get pop up messages, but at the bottom of some pages it says, after downloading is complete. "Done, error on page."

Not sure .. but if using IE, it should be 5.5+ with all the updates including VM (handles java script). If you are still using WIN95 it becomes difficult to upgrade but WIN98/XP/2000 are easy ... except for the download time.

Thats just a broken link ... not as bad as error messages related to your software.

If you cook the Chile right there should be no Chamber Music.

I'm getting better at cooking beans but throwing them against the wall is making a hell of a mess

Re: [sparks] Annoying Error Message

Everytime I click on a new thread or forum, I get an "Internet Explorer Script Error" message. It says:

Line: 86

Char: 75

Error: Unterminated String Constant

Code: 0

Url: http://www.mexconnected.com/.../gforum.cgi?forum=11;

It asks me if I still want to read the page, and when I click on "yes" the message goes away.

Any idea Why I am getting it. I have been getting it ever since David changed the forums about a week or so ago.

If you have WIN98/2000/XP ... go to this Windows upgrade site and see how many upgrades it thinks you need. Only pay attention to the Critical Upgrades and Service Packs. I would bet one of them would fix it.

http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp

You can also get there thru IE Menu Bar in Tools -> Windows Update. Either IE 5.5 or 6.0 should be OK with proper updates. In the news lately you may have noticed how Microsoft is dragging feet when it comes to keeping up with Java standards. Much of this board is Java.

I don't get errors on the page you included.
