I am in US and have to fly back to GDL (drove to Okla)…I have a new Residente Permanent card….What do I fill out & which line do I get in upon arrival in GDL….Also am meeting friend at MZT airport to help me drive a vehicle back to US….does he need to stop at Aduana in Laredo when we go out & give them his visa (tourist)??

Fill out an FMM. In the white open section at the top of each half of the FMM, handwrite: "RESIDENTE PERMANENTE" across the top. Sometimes the INM officials allow RPs to use the "Mexican" line, while others have you go to the foreigner's line. Expat reports from GDL describe successfully using the shorter "Mexican" line.

Yes, when you and the friend drive out of Mexico, stop and surrender his visitor's card. If you think you might want to apply to become a Naturalized Citizen in the future, you should check-out with INM too.
