Thanks for the link. My Spanish is finally getting good enough (I think....) wherein I understood it. Unless I missed something otherwise, nothing in it is very surprising. Disturbing and depressing, yes. Surprising, no.

They didn't mention Manzanillo as being the main entry point for raw chemicals. Nothing similar in Jalisco

You know, I almost included a reference to the Port of Manzanillo in my post earlier. For a long time I've found it absolutely astonishing that that we don't hear more about it given its significance. (And yes, I know it's in Colima, and that the article was focusing on Jalisco. Still, given the proximity, etc.)

I also admit that, while I do pay attention, I don't follow "Drug-War Journalism" like some afficionados. Undoubtedly someone helpful will come along and post 72 newslinks to catch me up on what I've been missing.

I just watch the Manzanillo news because that's our town to get things done ... even tho I live in Jalisco. Almost every week they find a shipping container full of raw material from the far east. Probably means there are 10 more they don't find or are ignored
