Well, I thought I was going to Bernal...

As mentioned, I went with a group of rock-climbers. As it turns out, the campground we were staying at was all the way on the other side of the rock! Other than a quick Gordita pit stop going through Bernal on the night of arrival, I didn't even see the town, except from above on the monolith. Jajajaja.

But let me tell you, if you want to NOT be bored in Bernal, go with a bunch of climbers. We hiked from the campground on the Toliman side to the Bernal side, then went up part ways to where they began their ascent. And then I watched. They were amazing.

Here's a photo of the "non-Bernal" side of La Peña, and one of my great friend Carlos doing his insane stuff climbing the rock. The weekend was a blast.
