The law says that a woman is entitled to maternity leave for six weeks before and six weeks after delivery with full pay. If she is unable to return to work after that leave, she's entitled to a period not to exceed 60 days at half pay. Since she has announced her intention to quit after the birth, there may be some question about your obligation to pay her for six weeks after the birth. It's a small amount of money, so it's probably not worth getting a lawyer involved.
