Opening an Online Business

| Private Reply
Hola,

have googled all over, read over 100 pages of information (like tuempresa.gob.mx and others), but nowhere have i found anything about how mexico is dealing with online businesses.

My business partner and myself are online marketing specialists and look to increase our markets in Latin America.

Our business model (just using an example):

We capture leads on our site hairsaloon.com.mx . The visitor can choose their beauty service and order it. We sell the lead to a mexican hair saloon and receive a commission if the customer ends up using his services.

The questions are:

1) Do we have to register at all in Mexico, considering that the mexican hair dresser can simply take care of the IVA

2) Would anything change if we would collect payment

3) Can i come and live in Mexico, advertise my site to the Mexican people without violating any law ?

Thanks in advance for your time.

I will definitely consult a lawyer, but i'm reading/doing lots of research on my own and want to feel out in order to be able to do the paperwork on time.
