We sure must have hit it the wrong day of the week or something when we stayed in Tonala last time. Figuring the plaza was where the action would be in the evening, we were extremely disappointed. Nothing, and I mean nothing was going on. Hardly any places to eat, it was not at all what we were hoping for. The reason I asked about restaurants is that the town certainly seemed to roll up the sidewalks after dark.
